Spring It On

While the chilly air thankfully encourages more discretion in attire, one cannot help but anticipate when we can trade in our winter leggings for flirty sundresses and bikinis.

Vegas is no longer just a nightlife destination! From pool parties at Wet Republic to feasting at San Gennaro and all the other daytime activities in between, we revel in all the sun time we can get.

If you are the kind of girl who stares at a closet full of clothes and cries you have nothing to wear, don’t worry we can work on that.

Before anything else happens, you need to recruit a girlfriend or two and spring clean that closet. Remember that scene from Sex and the City? Yeah, that needs to happen. Make piles: Sell, Toss, Keep. As a perk, let your friends keep whatever you don’t want anymore. Don’t be an Indian Giver!

Next, set a budget for yourself each season that you can stick with and plan out what you need and want to get.

Let’s say you have a couple of wedding invites, a family reunion, and a few known parties set for the next season. Since you have a clear idea of what you have in inventory you can fill in the holes much easier.

It’s a faux pas to wear the same thing twice to a social event that cannot be altered, such as a dress with a distinguishable pattern. As a safe bet, get a few new dresses! These will be great for the weddings and you should pack at least 1 for the family reunion.

Accessories are always key. They are also the best way to stay trendy without having to spend too much. Limit your current trend obsession to a few pieces that can be intermixed.

Club wear does not mean just dresses. Longer tops worn with shorts is a great alternative. Get a few new shirts that can double for night and as casual bbq options.

Last but not least, make sure to leave room in the budget for some new shoes. You can never have enough stylish heels 🙂
